Hi I have International Driving Licence issued from Chennai (India) while visiting Bahrain in Visit Vissa
Can I drive without a Bahrain Driving Licence. If not What should I do to drive friends car?

Yes you must be able to drive in Bahrain with your international driving license, but just to be on safer side let your friend call Ministry of Interior (MOI - Traffic section) and just verify the same, because the rules keep changing very often.

As far as I can remember when I once inquired on this matter at the Traffic Directorate, you can use an international driving license to drive in Bahrain but you must first go to the Traffic Directorate and register your international license to be valid to drive on Bahraini roads. With the validated international license you can use it to rent a car as well. They will stamp your license and pay some amount. I suggest you visit the directorate upon arrival in Bahrain.
