I am in Indonesia under a 60 day visit visa. I want to know whether it is possible to extend my visa without going out of Indonesia. Normally I go to Singapore with the approval letter. Please guide me.

Yes, your 60 visit visa can be extended up to four times, each time good for an additional 30 days. You can do that at any Kantor Imigrasi (immigration office) and I believe there is one in Pekanbaru.
You should get the process going about seven days before your 60 day visit visa expires, and keep in mind that your date of arrival counts as day one.
