I take it that you have the appropriate visa to work in UK. ??

Cost of living is very high so check out www.numbeo.com for this.

Hi all...
I'm Tima from Italy..I'm moving to Birmingham next November to improve my english. I would like to know nice people who can help me with some questions! Thank you so much
Tina

Hi Tina Marc here, I've been in Birmingham twice, I live in Coventry myself, but Birmingham is far bigger and moving! Lots of stuff to do there, really nice people. Maybe I am not the best to answer you as I am quite new in the area, but I already moved three times in different places in UK so I might be helpful if you have practical questions. (:

Hi Mark ..thank you! Do you think is Birmingham a good place to study english and maybe to find a little job?

I think yes.. It gonna be less expensive than London and it's still the second biggest city in England in term of population. So you should find a little job quite easily, When you say study english, do you mean university studies??

Yes for this reason I should prefer birmigham and not london, no I have 25 and I finished university I mean an english course. But you have an italian face ahahahah!!!

Hahaha lots of people say that to me xD Maybe I have origins who knows! ^^ So yeah anyway, Birmingham sounds a good choice to learn english, young people don't have a too much strong accent. You might have problems to understand some of the 40-50y old people, they speak a weird way, really fast... But apart that it's quite ok. (: My polish colleague here arrived 6/7 months ago, and is fully billingual now! And what about jobs? What are you looking for?

Ahahah it's true! So why did you come there? What's your job? About the job I thought something in restaurant or similar, even if I graduated I'm not very sure p that with my level of english ai can ask for stage in some firm..so for now no more

What did you graduate in? And not all of London is expensive. It's a huge city, and like any large city, costs vary from area to area.

What about your experience about London?

I am also new to this forum, I am originally from UK. planning to move for Canada coming year.

Newbie here! hello! great website great forum! so many nice people. love travelling, so looking forward to sharing tips and advice and experiences here!

Hello all,

Hi!
I'm Emilie (or Marbles; some prefer that)
I'm 24 and engaged to a charming man in Britain. We're just starting to look into the process of moving me out there and are hoping for some time living in the same town before getting married.

Any support or advice is welcomed with thanks. Finding information is proving somewhat overwhelming, but it's easily worth any struggle we'll have to endure.  :D

Hi, my name's Gigi, I'm Italian, from milan, and since October 2014 I live in Liverpool, where I moved due to work reasons. My wife and my 2-years-old came along.
So, if you're there, give me a shout and we could meet, hang out, have a beer.

ciao!
Gigi

Hi All, I have been living in England with my family for 3 months now. In Solihull to be specific. Its been quite a challenge adapting and still will be for quite some time. Although we miss home (South Africa) we are living here and looks like we will be here permanantly. Nice to chat to other people from the same background and culture and understanding of the huge change it is :-)

Hello all, my name is Mona, sudanese, I have bachelor degree in Business Administration, working in international company as office assistant, I am planning to move to london to study ASAP, looking forward to have new friends .

Hi my name is Maribell a filipino married to british, me and my daughter will move to uk in the future for her study.Hope to meet new friends someday.:)

Hi I'm Jun.

I worked as an Analyst Programmer at the first and largest gaming company in the Philippines. I create websites which are being used by different account types as part of launching casino games. I also worked at the only call center in the Philippines of a well-known international television brand. I created and maintained the only CRM of the company which is being used by the call center agents  as  well  as the  representatives of  its service centers available worldwide.

Currently, I work as a remote employee, a Web Developer at a company from UK. The reason which made me really interested to work there. However, I don't know where to start. I tried applying online but seems to have no luck. I am a pure Filipino and live in the Philippines but I am very much willing to relocate to UK if I found a job there. ;-) If anyone knows a job in there, please let me know. Thanks in advance. :-)
