Switzerland: The Best Place For Expat Life

According to the 7th Expat Explorer Survey which has been revealed this Wednesday 22 October 2014, Switzerland is the best place for expat life. In fact, the country ranks 1st among 34 qualified countries. It is followed by Singapore, China, Germany, Bahrain, New Zealand and Thailand.

During this survey, some 9,300 expats have share their experience and feelings regarding quality of life, financial well-being, as well as the ease of raising a family abroad. Hence, Switzerland emerges as the country which offers the most attractive job and career prospects along with high wages. In fact, a quarter of interviewed expats reveal earning more than US$ 200,000.

Moreover, more than half of the surveyed expats affirm they can maintain a proper life and work balance since they moved. Moreover, most of them claim to have greater access to education, security, as well as a better quality of life, including health, well-being and safety.

As regards Asian and Middle-East countries mentioned, these are popular with expats due to the attractive salaries and professional opportunities which offered there. New Zealand, for its part, has been voted best destination in terms of expat life experience and raising a family abroad.
