When you only have $2K per month to retire on, it isn't much. But I know there are small, safe places to call home in the PV area. This would be for a long-term rental (3-5 months). I was hoping for something close to the water - maybe the upstairs of a nice family's home? $800/max. Can you give me some ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
