Hey guys!

I just got to know from this blog language-culture-translation.blogspot.com/2011/10/happy-diwali.html that the Dewali festival started today. For me it is really a wonderful festival, the houses and streets are decorated with ligts and lamps.It's so great! And of course I like the idea behind the festival, too.

Does anyone of you celebrate this festival? If yes, where? Are there places in Europe to visit and to see everything illuminated?

Yes Katelona, it is one of the biggest Indian festivals. It is also called the "Festival of Lights". It is celebrated every year around October and November with lots and lots of sweets, lights, fireworks. Really enjoyable time. I think if you try at the Indian temples in Barcelona, you might find out about the preparations

Yeah, siddharthmishra, you are right. I never thought about looking for an Indian temple to go and see this wonderful festival. Maybe I will try it these days :-)
