Hi, I have just moved to Japan and need to get a local SIM card for my mobile. However, the websites I've looked at seem to only offer SIM cards for smart phones, and my phone is very old. It's a samsung model GT-B2710 which takes a regular SIM card.
I don't know if it would be easier to get a SIM card or use the rental phone service. I'll be using this phone for three months, but after that I would like to buy a new phone.
I don't need internet, Wifi, data etc on my phone, I just use it for texting and making calls. I'm looking for the cheapest option as I don't want to spend a fortune - I don't use my phone very often.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I think you can buy any of those sim cards for smart phones and put it in your phone to make phonecalls for sure and I would think it would allow you to text as well. Hope this helps!!
