Hi
Thanks I m looking for the answer on veg food and stay in hail

Hi! Sanjay,
No idea about hail...I am in Riyadh....but generally u should be able to find some kerala restaurant there which will definitely serve some south indian veg meals...just in case you don't find any immediately here's a temporary survival gyan:-
1. Look out or ask for local Saudi outlets serving "Phool" ( Basically Rajma) or Dal Fry..these outlets will have 2-3 big steel matka kind of vessel displayed at there entrance..this is the local veg option # 1
2. Also meanwhile another veg snack popular here is called flafel..this is basically a veg patty rolled into a chapati kind of stuff ( called Khubus)
3. When you buy Noodels read the ingredients since most of them are labeled veg but have meat flavors... only 1 brand is seemingly pure veg...sorry dont remember the name...
4. The kirana shops here are called 'Bakala' there u wud get some basic bread cheese juices etc. Look out for Indian run bakalas (big size) and u might also get some Indian snacks or ready to eat veg food..
5. Coffee shops will have veg sandwich options like 'Halumi' which is thick cheese stuff..

Thanks a lot .
