When I'm looking at hotels in Uganda, I see one price for USD and one price for Uganda shillings. But, the prices are not equal. Sometimes they're off by as much as $20 USD.
Why is there such a difference?
Should I try to pay in Ugandan shillings instead of US dollars? Or, will they still charge me the USD price since I'm American?

They will still Charge you as a Foreigner the Reason why it is like that is that they want to give Priority to Ugandans, it is by Law, that Ugandans Should be given that discount, but still our Hotels are not so expensive, and they are nice, but if you are planning to stay for Long, you can rent an apartment or buy a house at a very cheap Price
