Hello
Great community very helpful! Thanks for all your tips, I also have a quick question for you:
I have changed my last name in my country before got married to a Brazilian, then we applied for a marriage certificate and received one, however the embassy disregarded the fact that I had a different name before marriage saying it's not possible in Brazil.
so now our marriage certificate states that I didn't have a different last name before we were married.
I applied for a permanent visa I received it, however there is a note there that says that prior to marriage I've had a different name.
We are legally married and approved by the consulate, we have a child together which is also registered and approved. All the documents are in place
I have to go to Policia federal with that to approve the Permanent visa.
Obviously, we have all the documents regarding the name change, everything is 100% legit and notorized, what can I expect? is that a problem, or just a small glitch that doesn't really matter?
Thanks
