The management will decide the stay in barwa industrial ( permanent )  or the Doha guest house( one month only) untill you get the visa and Qid processed. Till the time you are bachelor, you will get a furnished apartment. Once you move with your family will get furniture allowance (45 k) . My suggestion for you better get in touch with the management team and avail near by Hmc Doha so you can save plenty of travelling time. Keep an option shika garden. It's the best prime location.  More housing option but things are confidential as per Hmc standard Law.

me too. i am still waiting.. i am hired but still waiting for the offer letter... i want to work already but i don't know until when will i wait ...

I am new to this forum, I have just received my visa from HMC and hope to move to Qatar early February 2015.

I have been offered a 114 position. I have same question as others about accommodation.  I recently heard form some one working in HMC  that accommodations at Barwa city is almost full and there is big waiting list . Can someone please update us on this. Also if possible provide some information about other area's HMC is providing accommodations now.

i was interviewed & been accepted last june, & my friend last apr, the hr contacted me last aug. to submit some docs, & & our job offer came this end of oct. & the process is not yet finish,( i thought i could start as soon as possible). we are  locally hired & no visa to process to them, but still we keep on waiting for their long recruitment process...

And how long can it take to get an offer for a non medical job ? Can it be 1 year ?

Mine is also non medical job (researcher), it took me 5 months for initial offer and total processing including visa and joining can take about an year. I have also heard from some people it can take some times upto 1.5 years.

What dose it mean "Housing Allowance : Provided" I never wanted allowance during discussion, but accommodation only.

And what about "Producing medical report stating that you are not suffering from vision disability" I use glass for reading and my power is +1.

Interviewed September 2013 accepted offer in march 2014, still waiting on my visa. My job letter said accommodation provided. Will be joining as grade 112.

Anyone else in same boat, assume accommodation is still barwa??

@ Desi-Man The rules and regulation says Accommodation Provided, Once you get your Paper Work done, you can leave out and you will get Housing Allowance. Maybe in your case HR is providing you the Housing Allowance. (Cash Credit to your bank account.) Its just a Medical Documentation Comment that you have good sight vision.

You will find Clinical administrator position in PHCC and HMC (for phcc JOB Grade, T &C under HMC law  ) Clinical administrator position depends on your work experience, its starts from 108/ 09 fresher (110 mid level)

The Salary scale is confidential , don't worry nothing is partiality in HMC. Best way to ask is the recruitment agency.  Best of luck

in my case - i directly approched through dept. head in HMC. So dont have a agency to catch hold

Hi everyone,

It seems accommodation is the main issue at HMC (at least for grades 113/114 which apparently have a waiting least of about 600 pending demands).

Can anyone share experience regarding this?

I just received my offer letter and was trying to "negotiate" the terms regarding accommodation but HMC refuses to give a list of compounds as examples/samples (they say it's "based on availability"), they refuse guaranteeing a deadline before being moved to final accommodation (ex: maximum 6 months, which seems to be the current minimum by the way), they can't even commit on a minimum size, #of rooms or maximum distance with work.

It seems administration really start caring from grade 115. Is that true? I spoke to several 113/114 employees at HMC and some of them (families with kids, which is my case) are sharing apartments with other families while waiting for their final accommodation and they have been waiting for months now!

I have to say this is a bit scary. I was about to take the offer and move to Qatar with my family but now I'm not sure anymore!

Any advice is welcome...
