Name in old CPR card is different from the name in renewed passport

Hi there,

I lived in bahrain during my childhood and had a CPR with the old name. i left the country
and changed my name in my native country. Now i have got a job in bahrain and my employer
has processed the working visa. as far as now the Labour ministry has sanctioned, but immigration
is due in process for granting me a working visa. its been a week now.

Would like to know if my new name in the renewed passport will affect with that of the
old name in my old CPR card for the visa process, once they are entering my passport number
for obtaining my details in the immigration clearence for handing me the work visa?

This will be an issue if you wish to use the same CPR number as before. In which case, it should not be a problem, as long as you have all the relevant documents proving you are the same person.

If you accept a new CPR number, then this is not an issue at all.
