Don´t know about the work.

But it is illegal to work on a ED-Visa for study at a language school/university.

You NEED correct Visa and apply for a work permit.
You work place shall help you on that.

If working on wrong Visa, No work permit one can be fine up to 500.000 baht if i remember it correct, even so it is normal around 10.000 - 50.000 baht fine.
One can be send to jail if work illegal here, even so, it is "normal" Thailand make you pay the fine and send out of the country.

Might even get blacklist from the country for X years.

As Thailand right now is trying to clean up all the illegal worker here, Don´t take any chance is my advice to you.
