Why dont you search on Google. There are always ones mentioned in CareerJet and Internship.my but I think they will not take on a foreigner, so your best opportunity would be through AIESEC which specialises in internships and has a Global Internship Programme. 

It is probably too short notice now to arrange anything.

I don't think you can find any legal part-time jobs in Malaysia if you come under visit visa. If you get caught you will be in great troubles and please get way from troubles!

No only an employer can sponsor an employment  pass so don't waste your money if you are offered a pass (visa) as it is not valid.

Why Malaysia? Surely easier in Sri Lanka ? Internships are very rare in Malaysia although they exist

I like to work in Malaysia. I heard lot of job opportunities in Malaysia.

Unless you get the internship positions in a reputable multinational like O&G companies, most Malaysian firms pay interns only an allowance which is hardly enough to get by for rent and other basic living expenses. And I know legal firms are notorious for underpaying their interns. My sis did hers in Zaid&Co many years ago. But who knows, that might have change.

Hi guys. This is devendra. I have got a job in malaysia kl and my work permit is being sponsored by the company. However my job is from monday to friday. I will be free on saturday and sunday every week. So wanted to know are there any part tine weekend jobs that I could do to earn some extra income. If not weekend jobs then part time jobs for the whole week will also be ok. Online or office anywhere would be ok.

If you go to the entertainment outlets such as bars and restaurants you may be able to get some part-time work. But usually it will clash with your day job, as they need people early in the day and from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. in the morning. So make sure it is close by and does not require much transport.

Its true. Im glad someone said it. 15 years ago, yes possible, but not anymore. Malaysia wants all foreigners to go, even upper management foreigners. Its fine if you have your own company but for jobs in general, they want the jobs to go to locals, period. For at least the past two years the government has been putting mechanisms in place whereby the foreigner is expected to teach a local their job and then leave. I bet five years from now foreigners will have given up on Malaysia completely. Whatever jobs may be left, you wouldnt let your DOG do.

Its not only Malaysia. Thailand enacted laws starting this August wherein its going to be extremely tough just for a foreigner to live there; Singapore is so expensive its beyond the reach of the average person even if they would allow you to take a job there.

The answer isnt a job per se, its that one has to become extremely creative about their future. All along ASEAN the message is "we dont want you here unless you have a really, really good reason." The the only reason ASEAN can think of is tourism. Otherwise, and go ask immigration if you dont believe me, the general message is, "go back to your own country and leave us alone."

I do think there are some unscrupulous and/or stupid agents flogging Malaysia as a land of milk and honey with easy jobs with lots of savings in India, Pakistani and Sri Lanka.

It is all total lies. There are quite a few IT jobs for this with lots of experience, willing to work for low pay and very long hours (all I hear from Indian/Sri Lankan IT workers is how they never go out as work 18 hours a day and were promised a lot less).
