Hi I am new in AD with my husband working here. I have been a midwife for 19 years. I am looking to work as a midwife but don't know who to approach about it as I have a visa and accommodation already so don't want a whole package including accommodation and flights etc.
anyone have any tips?
Also would prefer to work as low risk birthing or community midwife- does such a job exist here?
And also, are there part time posts available?

Hello Sue. You will have a hard time finding part time work. The best way to get work in Abu Dhabi is to start with networking. Jobs are often found in the most unsuspecting circumstances. They do have jobs for midwives but I don't know what the pay would be. There is a new womens hospital BrightPoint that just opened. It may be worth looking into.
