I also have a similar offer and considering moving from dubai to sohar, but you should get certain things clear:
1) the initial acquisition of the accommodation and furnishing, should be by the co, later can be deducted.
2) rents as i inquired 2 bhk around 250 to 300 OMR.
3) groceries - around 100 to 200 ( better confirm and let me know too)
4) school - 40 to 60 omr per child (some co. do pay separately)
5) transportation ? (depends upon individual needs)
6)original  marriage certificates should be attested , same with your degree, child birth certificate from MEA
7) preferably visa , medical and air fares for spouse + 3 children should be borne by the co.

Its depend on your driving skills may be it cost you 350OMR...

it is very good offer , the cost of life in sohar is not high as dubai or mascat or any other GCC country

good flat with 2 bedroom with ac spilit unit with elevator about 200 OR only
I can tell you your total expenditure including your flat rent and transport and all other things will not exceed  500RO so your save will be no more than 1000RO

its v.good offer from my point of view

its depend on your social life and your life level and your qulification

I will advise you. Go for it. Salary is v good and life is v peaceful here. but life is v boring in sohar. not many places for go out. but u can go muscat and dubai in weekends. if u need any more information contact me on my number.



Accommodation

1) For 2 rooms apartment non furnish 120-150 and 3 rooms 180 to 250.

2) I think u cant purchase house.

3) Purchase furniture 500 to 1000/- depand on you. 

Transporatation

1) lease car u will get 75 to 100 Rial per month.

Daily food

1)For Grocery 150 Rial Omani will be enough.
2)5 to 8 Rial per vist. but it also depand where u eat.
