Please help me out,life in bahrain

Dear All,

I have got a job in Manama,
previously i was working in Dubai since 2008,with my family.
My company will send me the visa in coming week and giving 7 days stay in Hotel then i have to take care of my self(Accommodation and all) so what would be preferable for me(Accommodation and Transport ) then meanwhile i will apply for my wife visa and how to get it what are the documentation needed.

Bahrain is new to me, as i don't have friends over there , please help me out against my few defiant inquires.

1. Holding UAE Driving licence: How to get Bahrain Driving licence and what are the required early steps and papers,
2. Used car: suitable to my family(3 members),previously in Dubai i was driving Lancer it Cost me 25,000 Dirhams.
3. Two Bedroom hall Flat: My job location is in Manama, so near to that,not looking for luxurious and not a expensive       one but good to live in well atmosphere and will be manageable(by car) if it is quite far from Manama.how much it would be??
4. what are things which i have to consider for beginning, cost of Living, banks and Cards,

Kindly guide me if i need to take any precautions before coming to Bahrain, anything like about documents, in what form should i bring money from India and anything that i should care for.
