Hi! My family is counting down till retirement ( 46 months) in Belize, and trying to narrow the search as to where to live. We are not the "gated community" types, but are quite intrigued by the Better in Belize community. Does anyone have property here, or experience with? Pros and Cons? Also, are there many full time residents, or is it mostly vacationers? Thanks in advance!

I had not heard of this community until reading your post. I was intrigued and found tons of info online. It looks very nice and has some great home designs both built and in progress.
I'm interested in what additional info you find.
We have been to San Ignacio and love the area. I would like to take a trip out to see the development to view firsthand the progress and details. Please post any additional info you find!
