Visa question from remote-worker

Correct me if I'm wrong:

I'm getting married to Thai woman next year, and thus can apply for non-immigrant O (marriage) visa. While this visa is not a work permit, my income is going to be from a company based in the Philippines (and paid to a bank in the PI), so I'm not exactly going to be working in Thailand, right?

Is there something else I should take into notice if I'm going to move to Thailand? Work-wise I mean.

Re: Visa question from remote-worker

Any work within Thailand requires work permit but with that said maintain low profile and keep mouth closed about your situation and you should have no problems.

Re: Visa question from remote-worker

Eien, If your wife can prove that she can make about 45,000 baht a month you would not need to live in Thailand with a work permit. If you plan on working in Thailand in the future then you can consider about getting a work permit. (moderated: no ads please)
