I have no idea on what grounds you are coming to Enschede but maybe your company or university can help you out?
I know that not much expats living in the east of the Netherlands, most of them lives in the triangle of the three big cities in the west.

I had already applied for the international housing for my accommodation, but they suggested me to look for an alternative as well since there is heavy rush for the accommodation
