VISITING BEIRUT - (lively and party club ?? )

I'm Visiting Beirut for a day as I have 24 hour stop over before my next flight. I was thinking of going to visit few places in the limited time I have. Can someone point me in the right direction as where to where I should go. I will land in the evening so I would like to go where it will be lively and party hub. As a British passport holder I won't need visa, I would just need to fill in the immigration form when I arrive in Beirut.

I don't mind meeting few people up to just enjoy the party
