Hi I am Portuguese and I am moving to Coventry in September.
I am trying to find a job before I go, and although I have a degree I am looking for jobs not only in my field of knowledge (Biochemistry) but also jobs not related to it, they just need to be close to Coventry (max 1h drive/bus). If anyone can help me in my "quest" I would appreciate it.

Hello JRG,

Coventry is an industrial slum, why Coventry?

I suggest you should keep your options open and get a good job first, the selection of the city or the town is secondary.

I personally love Yorkshire and Lancashire. I am sure every body has his own liking and sets of priorities, I wish you good luck:

My fiancé is going to work there and we do not have much choice, since the company is there and he already has a house provided by the company.
