Hi, ukrainians or russians in Jakarta!

Thinking on, I met a Russian girl in Serpong when I was wandering around. She mentioned she was interested in meeting other Russian ladies. I can try to dig her out if you wish.

I have no idea why this link fails. I've added spaces in a final attempt to get it to you.

The forum is filtering out the word - remove the spaces.

Welcome to Indonesia!  :)

Given the way things are going  :(   you might have to decide on one or the other...Ukrainian or Russian.

Don't believe everything are saying ... What in news and what is happening inside the country really - two different things. Both nation are similar and friendly between themselves. And everything else are intrigues of politicians. I'm Ukrainian but my native language is Russian!

i wonder what happens next to the Crimeans who happen to be abroad. Did they get to vote as well at the embassies last Sunday?

We can't deprive newspapers of their crap stories and we can't deny politicians their god given right to cause as much trouble as possible.

I tend to find, people are people and just get on but politicians try their best to be as nasty as possible.

But some politicians get a rough ride, look at Jeremy Thorpe and Anwar Ibrahim.

they already voted to be a part of Russia. Crimea is not Ukraine any more

I was referring to the Crimeans who just happened to be outside Ukraine when the ballot was taking place.

if such people were, not much I think. I doubt that their voices would have been affected voting

Did anyone get a chance to vote for the coup?
Foreign powers encouraged and assisted a coup against the legally elected government, not even close to democratic, but the leader of the free world refuses to accept the result of a vote.

Drrrrr.

Democracy is above all, as long as the right people agree with the result of the election.

Yes. I am here. My name is Lena. I am from Ukraine.

Whichever side, 295 innocent lives were murdered in a single missile shot today in the name of - what, nationalism? What a sh.t world we live in.

There are times it's hard to argue with that, more so when you consider both sides are using these murders for political advantage.

However, as was said by AnnaIndo

Both nation are similar and friendly between themselves. And everything else are intrigues of politicians.

The world isn't poo, but the politicians bloody well are.

Amannoida, I am sure now everyone has your number you will inundated with calls from Russian, Ukrainian and English girls. Oooh the envy.

Aman.....instead of bothering us here, why you don't call your girl friends back home??

James, you will realise than many a man comes to the forum looking for 'friends to keep them company' while they are in Indonesia. Pathetic really in myopinion.

Welcome to the forum.
What brings you to sunny Jakarta?

You might find groups from the Ukraine by contacting the Ukraine embassy.

I was at the British embassy a week or so ago, and noticed they had posters advertising social groups.
Your Embassy may have information.
If you're from the separatist area, the Russian embassy might be of greater interest.
