Hi friends, I hope to visit New Delhi in June 1st week.
Except sightseeing, I can reserve only one day for shopping.
Can any friends give me some reasonable shopping ideas on
some golds (Any one has the idea of prices of gold these days?? cheap/expensive?)
shoes & hand bags.
sarees and other clothing
electronics for laptops & phones
I am not for trading purpose but buy for personal use
I have heard that sarees are made in domestic as a business in India. Is that true??

yes, sarees are made domestically in india.......banarsi sarees are especially famous.....
and gold is not that high now......around 26000 Rs for 10 gms to be more specific....
For clothing and accessories:
CP, south ex, lajpat nagar, Chandni chock, rajauri garden and karol bagh markets are very good; however, if u want something cheap then try sarojni nagar market and janpath....
u can visit sadar bazar and chandni chock for bulk shopping (much cheaper if u buy in wholesale) if u r looking for trading....
For electronics:
Nehru place and Gaffar place (Karol bagh)
