No pubs or clubs open during Ramadan except Expat Members Only clubs.
Restaurants and cafe's are open after sunset (Iftar).

A lot of the hotels are doing Iftar dinners that include alcohol. There is a post on this already https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=381321
Walaamaher has been really helpful on his post and is giving lots of good advice.

Which hotels are doing 'iftars' with alcohol? I would be very surprised if any hotel is mixing iftar concept with alcohol during Ramadan. How do they get away with it if this is the case?

Sorry - Just when Walaamaher said drinks included I thought he meant alcohol. Some do serve it I believe but you have to sit in a separate room. We went to Al Bander for our Iftar dinner and alcohol was served to us no problem and their were muslims sat eating there too. Suppose it all depends on the place.
