Hi Juliet,

I created a new topic with your question on the Hungary forum for a better visibility. :)

To know more about life in Hungary, i suggest you to go through the topics on the Everyday life in Hungary section please. Do you have other specific questions to ask please?

It seems that you are also looking for your colleague here  :unsure , maybe you should post an ad in the Missing people in Hungary section.

Thank you,

Priscilla

First you need to do an online search and find out the contact details for Hungarian visas. I suggest you contact a Hungarian Embassy or consulate for this information.

Then you need to see if you qualify for a visa, then apply.

Unless you are an EU citizen, speak Hungarian, married to a Hungarian or you have other very specialist skills, you've got no chance of coming here.

I think you meant "or". Using "and" makes it sound the list is all inclusive and required simultaneously.

There are more options than that as well: i.e. refugee status, can show Hungarian parentage, teaching (TEFL and ESL Certification is not really a "very" special skill), have 250,000 Euros to buy a Hungarian government resident bond, etc. etc. etc. Some options allow permanent residence, other allow long term residence.

And those are only if we assume Genious314 wants to work here. If just wants to visit, Genious314 simply needs a tourist visa.

Yes. typo, corrected. Perils of typing when distracted.

I think the OP is just a stereotypical poster from that region looking for an opportunity. I'm all for opportunity, but I am sure the OP is also sticking the same stuff on every other forum.  I doubt they'd make even the "visitor" visa criteria and without some very special skills, no-one would want to go to the expense of sponsoring etc.

Hungary is probably one of the WORST places to attempt immigration as a person from that region - difficult language, poor economics, lack of opportunity, xenophobic politics, increasing democratic deficit (i.e. yesterday's election result). I could go on.

Thanks for advice Sir,

I don't know how to get refugee status and also not have 250,000 euros its a huge amount for me. I also have no Hungarian parentage because non of my parents belongs to Hungary.

There certainly may be truth in that.  I may be terminally naive.

But, who knows when another sincere person finds the thread looking for information.

Then stumpy probably gave the best advice.

Yes, I know what you mean and I did think about it.  However if someone can post something here, they are literate enough to be able to Google the requirements generally, at the Hungarian Embassy and elsewhere.    I think the requirements have also been covered plenty of times in other threads here if only people would care to search. A general fishing exercise for info is almost pointless.

Why anyone would want to come here - over and above say, Australia, USA, UK, Netherlands etc - is completely baffling!

(p.s. I came here for the first time in 1994 and in that time, I've acquired a Mrs Fluffy and kids so I've almost got a plausible excuse for being here....)

Yes I know you all are right on there way but Please anyone who can help me legally.
any employer who can employee me pleaseeeee

I went through the process, but to me, if you want some help/advice more info eg; where are you from, age, work/experience work wise...................not much info from you to help.............

Thank you very much Sir,

Here is information as required by you.

Name: Naveed Ansari
Age: 29
Country: Pakistan
Experience: I have 10 years experience in accounting and book keeping and invoicing and inventory maintaining and also a bit experience in sales. beside of this I will try to do my best to fulfil any task you assign to me.

Hi thanks for that. well from my experience and that is from late last year, unless you have Hungarian parentage/background, or knowledge of the language and/or a large amount of money your chances are very slim. If you are learning Hungarian that may help. I would advise to Contact the Hungarian Embassey in either your country or the Embassey in Austria and speak to them.
Good luck.............

Chances are less than slim, they are nanometres thin.

The largest presence here of Asian region people will be the Chinese (Huwaei?) or perhaps Indians (Tata?). I cannot see anyone employing someone from Pakistan in a business here when they have a plentiful pool of own nationals to train up and send here on secondment.  I would have thought Pakistani businesses here were non-existent unless perhaps 1 or 2 restaurants in need of chefs.  It's not as though Hungary and Pakistan have longstanding historical contacts (as far as I know).

If I start a Business in Hungary Can I apply for Permanent residency?
Has anyone gone through this process?

Search. There's a previous discussion with links on it.  You need to lodge a bond with the government.
