Make sure you employer has full medical insurance cover for you.
You have secure accommodation
Security is an issue so don't go out by yourself at night.
Be aware of where you are at all times, especially at ATM machines.
Do not drive until you are familiar with the place. If you knock someone down and you stop you are in big big trouble. Take it from someone who knows.
