I am a retired college professor of Spanish, born in Missouri, educated in, among other places, New Mexico and Mexico. I am very fond of the DR and have traveled there perhaps fifteen times since the late 1970's. Currently planning to make three of four trips a year. Very fond of Barahona and environs, where I have many friends.
Currently planning a trip later in this month (July 2014), where I hope to avoid chikunguya.
