normally, this should be possible - there's no general principle preventing it. You would be well advised however to check with the authorities in both Romania and the UK on formalities that may be needed in order for your marriage to have full force and effect in both countries., like e.g. registration or publication requirements. In any case it is a good idea to register the marriage at the British consular office in Bucarest.
