welcome to the forum.

1000 €'s should be more than enough for one weeks stay in Malta  even including an average hotel unless you need 5 star accomodation. It would depend on what you intend to do during the week.

The evenings can be a bit on the cool side ( 10-15 °) but Spring seems to be on it's way.

I've always heard the best about the Cavallieri hotel and it has a great location on Spinola Bay
