Hello,I am shekhar nice meeting you.

Shekhar if you read the original post it clearly says she wants to meet someone in Malta and not in India. This is not a dating/sexting site.
Read before you post.

Hi Lucy and welcome to the forum.........

you've come to the right place. So you are looking for meet-ups etc.  Well this is as good as any place to start looking

Good Luck

Mike

Hello everyone :)
My name is Søren, im 21 (22 in 2 months) and i just moved here 2 days ago so i know literally no one xD
Anyone up for a beer or something at some point? :)
I'm currently staying at a Hotel in the eastern part of Sliema :)

Hi Soren,

I'm living in Sliema, just moved here also..im up for a beer at some point.. are you on Facebook?

Hi - I saw this post and as it loosely relates to my question, I thought I would pop in a reply! I'm 24 and trying to move to Malta for 3 months in May..temporary work is seeming much more easy to come across than finding a room to rent/house share for the duration of my stay?  I was wondering if anyone could point me in the best direction!? Once I'm there I would love to meet some new people and see the social side of Malta as well  :top: I am looking in and around Valletta!

Thanks for any advice!!

Katie

Hello Katie :)

I'm currently looking for housing aswell and you're right. A job is much easier to come by :)
I heard that alot of people get housing quick though agents, but with that you have to pay commission most likely which can get quite expensive. (Heard like 300-400 euro)
Dont know if you have any interest in that but i figured that you should atleast know :)

As for meeting people i'm always up for a beer if you want :)

Kind regards
Søren

hi everyone!! i've lived here for 1 year and my friends and I want to know new people to meetup, practise English, drinking something...
We are a group of girls between 23-26 years old.
Cheers!

Just reading these and WOW some of you guys are so brave at such a young age to move to Malta (or any foreign country!) by yourselves (whether for study or whatever the reason).

I'm moving there very soon and would love to meet up with people and make friends (flashes His passport and covers the 27 years old part hoping nobody sees) haha Would love to meet Maltese locals, as well as expats and blend into life in Malta :-)

Afternoon Kamio,

I'm looking into a move to Malta, at least for the summer months, and I'm currently living not too far away from Sheffield! At the moment I'm just looking at flats for rent but I'd certainly want to meet new people once there.

Are you making the move alone and do you have a job/study already lined up?

hey Yorkeh,

I'm moving over on my own, initially, while my partner finishes the sale on our house in the UK (The people buying are in a chain so it's taking ages). Once it is done, partner will then be joining me in Malta. I don't have anything lined up really. I'm going to stay with a friend for a short period, while I find a flat and then get a job when I get there (although I've been applying this week for jobs, so who knows) =)

Hi everyone =)
I just moved here from the UK, and would like to meet some new people & maybe go for a few drinks =) I'm living in Msida (near the mater Dei hospital) so I can get everywhere pretty easily =)

As far as I can tell - most people are of similar age & interests to me so get in touch if you want to arrange something.

Hopefully hear from you soon. x

This post is over three years old. I would suggest admins close threads that are inactive for an extended period of time.

Or simply young people can just continue to post on this thread saving them from making a new one....

I don't see any reason why this thread to be closed.

Probably because it's over three years old and most of the people who have commented on here no longer do so.
