Do you love islands?

Been to a couple.
I love the islands that is why I live on one.

('Shared island' is a name I coined right now ...)

Right now i will go for Shared Island Sir...........
But end of my life i will prefer to be in a lonely island

Switzerland is an island surrounded by the EU. 

The truth is that life in the islands is very different from life on the mainland.
One has to experience it to understand what I mean.  It has a special feeling different from living in a village on mainland.
And living in a village on an island is ... hhhm, how should I say, hhm, what words should I use?

Wise choice! Sri Lanka is ok because it is big enough to have a diverse community.
Caution, however, should be taken with following a dreamlike vision of an idealized life on a very small island.
Those who do this usually end up suffering from the classic symptoms of what I would call 'Island mentality'.

Question would be: which island?

Netherland have 5 small islands with 5 different and  unique character on its own.

Actually if I think well, I should suggest Julien to make a new forum only for islands here.

Islanders are NOT like mainlanders so why should we be in the same forums with all the other countries.

There is very good info over there and reading it takes into a different world at least for 30-60 minutes.
