Space expats???

Thank you for your lecture but you wrote nothing new to me about the Dutch history.
I am not into money at all so I don't care.
There is one exception: I am priceless.

Hi Primadonna, :)

1). No, I did not want to write anything new about the Dutch.  I only wanted to draw a parallel between tulip mania and possible Mars mania so as not to lose such a huge opportunity when it happens.  :top:

2). You not into money? This could be a dangerous syndrome.  :o

3). You priceless? Hmmm, you seem so from a distance ...  ;)

In conclusion, you do not want to be a space expat, do you?  :unsure

Hello Anil, :)
1). Thank you for remembering to post here when you found something relevant to this topic.  :top:

2). I believe the "rock" in the picture is the litter Mal and you left behind after picnicking on Mars on the weekend 3 weeks ago.   Mars is now your hideout.   :D

It seems activity on Mars started to increase. Aliens show interest in the uninhabited planet at the same time Earthians make plans to go there.

These are issues which should preoccupy the mind of more people than those involved in professional research.
The public can be included in the discovery processes by invitations to participate in semi-annual contests on various topics of large interests.

When the mind of experts who get fat salaries and hit the wall of inability to come up with solutions fail to produce above average results, fresh innovations are needed from persons who may get inspirations to do the trick.
Hot minds may succeed where cold minds failed.

The cost of awarding a prize to competing inquisitive minds is much less than the salary a savant gets and who is already passé.

The distance between Earth and Mars is 78 million KM,but time period in mars will be same as earth because mars also rotates in its axis within 24.3 hours once....has only 2 satellite...
