At the time, my mandarin was pretty good so I suppose I would get to know the Chinese population better. Sadly, in KL, the majority prefer Cantonese, but a hell of a lot can speak mandarin as well.

The more serious problem in KL is the scammers but perhaps that those stories would be better in the Malaysia forum.

Hahaha...yes it all contributes to me asking myself why am I still living in KL with my Indonesian wife and kids. That's part of the reason why we spend half our time in Bandung and can't wait to move there full time.

Well i may live in indonesia yogakarta because of my wife. But atm i still in kuala lumpur. Off and on onces a month i be around jakarta and joga. 2nd reason is the food in indonesia, loves the nasi padang and some types of food. Its mild less oil and not too rich in spices compare in kuala lumpur. Hotel stay is the best in yoga, less crowds and the food and hospitality is excellent. One of the best is hotel Tentrem in yoga.
