I am a UK citizen and I am enquiring about residency in Algeria. My Algerian boyfriend/fiancé and I would like to settle in Bejaia. We hope initially to rent an apartment and ideally rent a small cafe. Do any expats or Algerian citizens have any advice regarding the possibility of obtaining a residence visa for myself. We are also keen to hear any comments on apartment rentals and possible cafe rentals. We are hoping to relocate around June 2014.
