Accomodation

Can any body tell me how is the accomadation given to a specialist ortho surgeon.......i hope somebody out there vl help me

There is no specific or standard accommodation for specialist ortho surgeons in this country, or any other country for that matter.  You might be give a place in a compound, in an apartment, or given an allowance (25% of basic salary) to use as you wish.

hi how are you, your asking about the accommodation of a surgeon? your a professional and hired by a government hospital in riyadh? then if so you will usually have an accommodation that is more than modest, if your a bachelor surgeon you will receive your own flat/house probably near to the hospital, that is usually compose of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, salon, bathroom w/ huge bathtub, if your house/flat is far from the hospital you will receive either a transpo allowance or a coaster ride provided by the hospital, with your profession it is easy for you to secure a driving license in saudi arabia, if your married you will receive also bigger accommodation if it is provided by the hospital and if you opt to live outside then you will receive at least 1/4 of your salary will be your housing allowance, in ksa you can find a flat for rent w/ a rental price ranging from 4k to 20k depending on the area but usually on the city proper an 8k flat is modest enough for a small family of 4. good luck...

are those per month or per year?  too high for per month, and too low for per year.  apartments in the big cities range from 15k to 25k for small 1-2 room places, 20k to 35k for 2-3 room places, and 25k to 50k+ for 3-4 room places, depending on the poshness of the location within the city.  that's per year.

Any idea abt sulaiman al habib specialist surgeon married with 2 daughters accomodation status

Hi everyone:

I may be moving to Riyadh in August to pursue a teaching contract with Kingdom School. As I understand it, the school would offer either a furnished housing accommodation, or a living allowance of 5,000 (local)/month plus utilities and an allowance for taxis to get to and from the school.

I was hoping to gather some input on how much of my own money I would have to put in to get a respectable one person apartment in a decent area.

I have it figured out that if I put in 3000 Riyals of my own money (about $880 CDN) which is what I would pay here, that would be an 8000/month rent amount.

Is there a particular district that I could target with that amount? One I should avoid? Thanks!
