I have a son who will-be entering into the 9th grade next year. as some of you may know there is a test given called Pruebas nacionales given to all 8th graders. I have been told conflicting stories that in order to continue attending school in the DR that the student MUST pass this test, others have said that is only to attend a "Dominican school" I am confused and was wondering if anyone has experience with this. My son can speak and understand Spanish ,however he has a hard time with applying that to the academic parts of Spanish.

Welcome to the forums Theresa!!!! You ask a good question to which I do not have an answer! But I will try to find out. I cannot imagine he will need this for private school, but lets find out.
