It is becoming more difficult to find overseas work. Gone are the days when you could just arrive in a new country and get a job. Unemployment is a factor and with the tightening up of immigration controls there is more paperwork involved. Usually you now have to have a job offer overseas and get the visa and permits in place before you head off.

For me personally it has not been difficult as I have been working overseas in different countries for 40+ years and this international experience means that I get offered overseas work, but those offers are becoming less and less too.
