Share your experiences.. how was it when you studied in Florence ?

Hello All !

I am a college student and I will be studying abroad in Florence Italy for a year. I am very excited but nervous at the same time and I'm having second thoughts.. Can anyone that studied abroad let me know how their experience went? Need some feedback :)

Thank you very humbly !!

Hi Brenrenn,

Welcome on Expat-Blog,

Please note that I have created a new thread as from your post on the Florence Forum for better visibility and interaction :)

Thank you and best of luck with everything :)

What is worrying you?  Being in a foreign city or being away from home?  If it's being in a foreign city, you will find Florence an easy place to be.  Lots of young people, lots of things to do, you can find anything you want in the shops, etc.  if you don't speak Italian, English is widely spoken in the tourist and university zones.  And, you know what?  If it turns out you can't stand it, you can always go home.  But, I don't know too many people who don't like living in Florence.  It's an experience you won't be able to repeat any place else.  Give it a go and I doubt you'll regret it.
