Hello all,

I have a question about police clearance certificate. I am in the process of applying for a volunteer permit but I am still waiting for my certificate. I have been reading you can request a late submission of some documents (within 6 months of application). I was wondering if anyone had experience doing this? and what is the process?

Sorry, I was not clear enough. The police clearance certificate is from the Unites States and I am applying for a volunteer permit from within South Africa.

Ok now,,

I did it, but from my country and here they give it to you on the same day of request..so easy to take it with you in SA.

The best thing I feel that you should have someone in USA to do it for you and send it in SA..and from there an immigration agency should help you for the permit quick .
