Hello People,

I am a expat living in SA (Joburg). I have been for a year with my wife and kids. I was hoping to have my mother come and live with us for sometime. I wanted to know if anyone has applied for a long term visa (1 yr or so) for their parents. Please share your experiences.

Hi there,
My suggestion is you apply for the Relatives permit or if you intend to have her stay for a long time then go with the Retired Person permit.
