What would be the salary range for Technical Architect and Specialis

Hi,

Just want to know what would be the salary range for Technical Architect  and Specialist in IT

thanks

I was apply for Sr. level Network Engineer jobs in Brazil and the salary was 1/2 that of the US. So if you make the average 100-125k in the US, expect to get half that in Brazil, especially if you are not of Brazilian blood.

Thanks USMC... what about the niche skill . do they fall in same salary category as you mention

Well not that easy actually. I believe architect job are regulated...If you get a job, all official/commercial papers will be signed by architects with Brazilian diploma and not by you. Thereafter the value of your diploma and experience won't be appreciated to his real value.

This is a different type or architect - more a long the lines of designing a digital network, not infrastructure such as buildings, neighborhoods, etc.

Yes indeed. Certainly I just read the discussion tittle "Technical Architect and Specialis" and did not notice it was about IT. And I am in IT...shame.

I saw in some of the local papers here in São Paulo that companies were operating without official documentation, signed building plans, specifically for the apartment buildings. Great stuff, apparently everybody operates illegally.

You can google salary for counties and job titles. Also you can look on linkedin.
Here is one site: http://www.salaryexplorer.com/ that puts down salary figures.
There is one for Brazil too, but you may want the salaries in your native currency
as the Brazilian exchange rate is falling recently.
