Hello,

My husband and I are new to Bogota and are looking for things to do. We really want to experience the culture, food, people. This is a new experience for me as I have never really traveled outside the United States. I am slowly learning Spanish and I am looking for a job or to Volunteer in the Community. I am a licensed Esthetician from the United States and love working with people. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to my beautiful country! I am new to this blog, but have lived in both the US and Colombia. I was actually born in Colombia, moved to the US at a very young age and now I'm going back. I know that in my city, Bucaramaga, Estheticians don't make very much. I'm not sure how Bogota is. It's great that you're in Bogota because it's one of the most developed cities in Colombia. My husband lived in Chia as well as Bogota for a while so I will ask him and see what there is to do. I hope you find Colombia as friendly and comforting as I do.
