Smokers in Serbia: does this even seem accurate to you?

a report came out on the % of smokers around the world per country:

If you zoom in on the map you'll see that Serbia is at 27% while countries like Austria and France are even higher.  It seems off to me. Every time I go to Serbia and eat in a restaurant (despite there being a "non-smoking section") I feel like I'm choking on second hand smoke. But then again, I could be wrong. Do you feel like smoking rates are going down?

Smoking rate is going down because of health awareness and tobacco price raising, and I can confirm it from personal experience (many family members and friends quit, and younger generations are smoking less then let`s say mine). But statistics that I saw showed that Serbs are together with Greeks and some others at the top of the list of tobacco consumers. So I believe what you have noticed is more correct then the data you have seen.
