Divorce

Hello together,
has anybody experience with divorce in Nepal? Especially if husband wants the divorce? I heard it's not easy for husband to get the divorce when wife Ždoesn't agree.

Perhaps somebody has experience with this. Thanks a lot

I am not an expert in Nepali law, but it is widely known in the country that the law is more favorable to women in the case of divorce.

Woman gets half of the man's belongings my friend told me. In any case. Even if the woman files up for divorce. Marriage is more of a social thing over here, so in the end you'd probably have to take it up with the family of the bride.

Of course not overall a good thing, but I think it's a good case that it's that way.

Answer satisfactional, or it up for debate?

What if the woman is a foriegner and has more property? What if the expat woman starts a business and works on it without the man working? Who gets the money? What if the woman uses her money from abroad to buy a house? If he dies or they get divorced what happens?
I appreciate your opinion on these questions.
