I am Testing Engineer in India and planning to migrate to Australi by EOY 2014. I will be having almost 6 years of experience in my profession by the time to move.
What is the scope of getting jobs in testing? What professional certifications are prefered? Like its ISTQB in India, what kind of certifications would help me in getting job there?
In case I cannot get any job related to my profession/experience what other opportunities can I get there?

There is a skills list of what type of skills get preference.
Any qualifications you have must be able to be verified.
The unemployment rate is rising here in Australia so preference is given to locals first for jobs.
The cost for a company to employ an overseas worker on a 457 visa is high and it takes a long time to get the visa.
