Moving to Bucharest

My partner & I are moving to Bucharest from Australia. Neither of us have been to Europe but my partner's job offer was too good an opportunity to pass up. Anyone have any good advice for us? Any Aussies who can recommend a good bar etc? We will be living in Sector 1.

Hello there!

Sector 1 is one of the best place to live when you are in Bucharest. Depends on the street of course, but you are near the Herastrau Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks in Bucharest, and very close to the city centre - and old city centre - Lipscani, where you can find a lot of pubs, restaurants, night clubs and activities.
