If you are looking for places or planning a small event , its better to approach a decent hotel and they will have event planners who can guide you well.

It mostly depends on what you wanna do ..
but i would say between 20,000 to 25,000 that include
the rent,dinner and services

Lol 20,000 saudi money is 5000+ USD i aint spending tht much for 40 ppl lol i said a small cheap wedding something around around 1000 USD tht includes food deco hotel photographer and vid recorder cake

I  said 20,000 cause that almost what you need to spend if wanna a small hall in hotel ..
but for your budget the food would cost you more than that for 40 person ..
So what i would suggest that you go to middle size hotel and see the hall and discuses the prices with them ..

You are not Saudi residents and you have never been there, but you will get married there?

My estimate for 40 people would be SR. 6,000 to 8,000.  But that still won't be 5* hotel, probably 3 to 4 star.

Is Riyadh the new Vegas?

Best way to find out the prices is to google for hotels in Riyadh and choose a bunch of 5 and 4 star ones and then calling them.
