I am moving to Panama city in 2 weeks. Once I have rented a place. How long does it generally take to get the electric and cable turned on? I am wondering how long I will be in a hotel

Hello. From now welcome in town.
Many places are rented with all this service included. So it wil up to you if you want to have them under your own name. Electric services is provided only by one company amd you can have cable from different ones. So it will be easier if you rent with all te services included.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any more doubts about it.
