Gosh! You really know you're in Brazil when not even the homepage of Google here has anything. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!
I don't know, maybe it's just that I have a twisted nature, but even as a kid I got more excited about Halloween than I ever did about Christmas. As an adult I really got into Halloween bigtime even creating a Haunted Graveyard on my front lawn, complete with a full sized coffin with talking corpse.
So I really do miss Halloween folks, especially here in Brazil even thought it is "Dia das Bruxas" nobody celebrates here. You might see the odd English school that has their students, especially the little ones, dress up in costumes but even that is dying here.
Anyway folks........ HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I really miss Halloween
We Brits celebrate 'Guy Fawkes', collect money for the guy and burn him on a bonfire. 'Remember, Remember the 5th November, Gunpowder, Treason and Plot' etc. He was born in York, which is now a restaurant that is very good, just off Moorgate.
Speaking of which, are any Brits thinking of doing anything for Bonfire night?
I would love to, but you are a bit far if you are coming to SAO okay?
Good to know. At least my house will be safe from eggs, toilet paper and shaving cream.

I REALLYYYY miss Halloween too!! Being an October baby born a week before Halloween made me feel an even stronger connection. It has always been my favorite holiday and the lack of it here is depressing. I used to call trick or treating "knockin doors" and I even asked Santa for "Knockin doors" when I was very young one year and my parents couldn't stop laughing.
Halloween parties are the best for children and adults. It's a time to be creative, fun and let loose. Today is a sad day in Brazil.... I haven't even seen Hocus Pocus this yr 
Yes, a lot of my friends were born in October too. I myself on October 25. I can honestly say I never fell in love with the holiday - I guess growing up in NY it ruined my enjoyment of it - vandalism, etc.

Yep. That's because in the United States you go to jail for committing crimes, so the criminals need to cover their faces. In Brazil, they don't need to because no one tries to stop them and rarely are there any consequences for illegal actions.

halloween is really nonexisant in brasil. we take seriouslt Dia dos Fiéis Defuntos. very opposite from usa.
